Production meeting (on going)

Production Meeting Log
To be uploaded to blog as separate posts (one for each meeting) and labelled as “Production Meeting”.

25/10/16.
Tim and Natalie pitched their ideas again to the group and discussed their similarities and differences. We chose to use Tim’s original title, “We Are London” and his idea of using music to tackle crime in young people. Tim suggested we have the show be an hour long, but Danielle has since informed us that our show must be 20 minutes long

1/11/2016.
First day in the TV studio - We recorded an improvised fictional show called Build or Break.

07/11/16.
We spent the lesson discussing the format of our talk show episode and began to storyboard the action. We managed to complete the first 6 shots, with illustrations.

09/11/16
We listed the pre-production tasks and assigned them to everyone. We now all have tasks to be completing and have started them.

14/11/16

We was just informed that two of the camera’s in the tv studio went down which has delayed the process of shooting our multi cam production. We are now looking to use  a software called Reco live to shoot our multi cam production on our IPads.

05/12/16

We have planned to finish off all task by today including the script, We will be shooting our pre-recorded clips this week ready for when we come back next term.

Floor plan

Recce for multi cam

Recce

The location for the multicam production would be a TV Studio.
The reason being is because it is the most appropriate for the type of production we are shooting, having multiple camera setups means having the proper space in order to fit everything but also the lighting equipment as well as having the proper mixing/ editing room is mandatory and any extras such as green screen for that matter.

The theme of our production is to showcase and represent London through the different types of issues being discussed therefore it is essential to have some sort of a London theme going on and the initial idea is to either green screen a London scenery or insert a short clip representing the city.

The image below clearly shows a famous London scenery with Shard in the distance and a few other popular to London places.
